Head Barista

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Fika Hackney. You’ll be confident preparing high-quality espresso-based drinks, maintaining consistency during busy service, and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every customer. The role involves dialling in coffee, latte art, managing workflow under pressure, handling orders efficiently, and keeping the coffee station clean and organised throughout the day. The ideal candidate has previous specialty coffee experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment, passionate about coffee and hospitality, and able to bring energy and professionalism to every shift. Weekend availability and flexibility are preferred.
